At Work

During my internship at Cosanum AG, I worked in a highly professional, supportive, and welcoming environment that helped me grow both personally and professionally. I gained valuable knowledge in logistics and procurement, and learned the importance of precision, teamwork, and communication in a medical supply company. Through excellent guidance and mentorship, I developed strong in-depth skills and practical experience across various operational processes. I enjoyed being part of a collaborative team where efficiency, structure, and a positive work atmosphere made every day both motivating and meaningful. This experience strengthened my confidence, broadened my understanding of the supply chain, and inspired me to continue growing in this field.

My Swiss Host Family

I had the privilege of staying with Sabina Studer and Jürg Siegenthaler, an amazing host family who made my time in Switzerland unforgettable. They were incredibly welcoming, caring, and patient, and they made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. Their children, Mona and Janno, were also wonderful, kind, friendly, and full of energy. My host family’s friends and extended family were just as warm and kind. Whenever I met them at gatherings or shared meals, they made me feel included and appreciated. I will always remember their hospitality and generosity. They treated me as part of their family. Sabina and Jürg taught me so much about Swiss culture, traditions, and everyday life, and I am deeply grateful for their kindness and care.

Highlights and Challenges in Switzerland

Switzerland is a beautiful country with breathtaking landscapes, efficient transport, and rich cultural diversity. I had the opportunity to explore cities such as Bern, Basel, Zurich, and Cumbel, each offering something unique. Some highlights included visiting the Lindt Chocolate Factory, enjoying a peaceful cable car ride with stunning mountain views, and traveling to Paris and Milan during my free time. I also experienced Switzerland’s unique and highly reliable transport system, which was very different from what I was used to, but incredibly convenient once I adjusted. A few challenges included adapting to the high cost of living and navigating daily life in a new environment, but these experiences helped me grow, become more independent, and improve my communication skills. I also enjoyed trying many new foods and learning more about Swiss culture through its cuisine.

My Future Plans

This internship has been a life-changing experience that opened my eyes to new opportunities. I plan to continue my studies by pursuing an Honours Degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management and use the skills I gained at Cosanum AG to contribute to improving logistics and business efficiency in Namibia. I also hope to make a positive impact in my community by sharing knowledge and inspiring young students to pursue education and personal development, helping to build a stronger and more sustainable Namibia.

Personal Message

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to B360, Cosanum AG, and my wonderful host family, Sabina Studer and Jürg Siegenthaler, along with their children Mona and Janno, for making my time in Switzerland truly unforgettable. Their kindness, support, and encouragement shaped my experience in the best way. I am deeply thankful for the people I met, the lessons I learned, and the meaningful memories I created. This journey has taught me professionalism, independence, and cultural appreciation, and I leave Switzerland with a grateful heart and experiences I will cherish for a lifetime.
