Volunteers and pro bono service providers are important pillars of B360 education partnerships. We appreciate every contribution that helps us to offer a future to young people from Africa.

Pool of Volunteers

You do not necessarily have to travel to Africa to make a valuable contribution to development cooperation. B360 relies on the support of volunteers, particularly when it comes to assistance in taking care of the interns in Switzerland, Organizing events or working on individual projects.

Volunteer lecturing

We arrange and manage teaching assignments at our established partner institutes of higher education in Namibia, South Africa and Zambia. These assignments generally last two to three weeks plus travel days, and are carefully targeted to making a significant and visible contribution to mid- and long-term development in Southern Africa.

Host Families

To ensure that our interns feel at home during their stay in Switzerland, we are looking for host families in suburban Aarau, Bern, Fribourg, St. Gallen, Zurich, Zug and Liechtenstein. The internships last three months and usually take place between February and October.

Internships

A key part of the 360° approach is the B360 internship program for Southern African students in European companies. We set up three-month internships for the top students from our partner universities. These offer a stimulating learning opportunity for both the interns and their host colleagues.

Pro Bono

As a small non-profit organization, we rely on experts and partners who are willing to provide pro bono services, e.g., in the areas of accounting, communication, film, and photography, etc., so that we can work and operate professionally and effectively. Would you like to contribute as well?
