My Career Bridge Experience

Participating in the B360 Career Bridge Program 2026 has been a valuable learning experience that has contributed significantly to my personal and professional development. Through the trainings, teamwork and Hackathons, I gained practical skills, broadened my perspective and developed greater confidence in my ability to approach unfamiliar challenges.

Trainings – (CSW, ICT, Preparation Week)

The Career Starter Week (CSW), ICT training and Preparation Week equipped me with skills that extend beyond the classroom. During ICT training, I strengthened my computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel, where I learned about automation and ways to work more efficiently with data, as well as improving my PowerPoint skills. The Preparation Week taught me the importance of planning and structuring work around clear milestones, timelines and tasks. I also learned how to use different canvases to break down complex problems, analyse them systematically and develop practical solutions. In addition, I gained a better understanding of workplace etiquette, including the importance of punctuality, professionalism and politeness in email communication. These lessons have given me a stronger foundation for entering the professional world.

Teamwork experience with Career Bridge colleagues

One of the most rewarding aspects of the program was working with colleagues from different backgrounds. Collaborating with people who had different perspectives, strengths and approaches to problem-solving was an eye-opening experience. Although we each brought different skills to the table, we learned to leverage our individual strengths towards achieving a common goal. As the program progressed, we became more comfortable working together, developed stronger working relationships and had a lot of fun along the way. This experience taught me that effective teamwork is not about everyone thinking alike, but about bringing different ideas together to achieve better results.

Highlights and challenges during the Hackathons

A major highlight was the opportunity to work with Swiss companies through the Hackathons. This exposed me to different professional expectations and working styles, broadening my understanding of how collaboration and problem-solving can vary across countries and organizations. One of my biggest challenges was participating in a Hackathon that was largely IT-focused, an area in which I had limited prior experience. It required me to learn quickly, adapt to unfamiliar concepts and step outside my comfort zone. With the support of my teammates and mentors, I was able to navigate these challenges and contribute to the team's work.

Looking back, this challenge became one of my greatest learning opportunities and reminded me of the importance of remaining open to learning.

My future plans

Looking ahead, I plan to further my studies in Economics and Finance while continuing to develop my digital and professional skills. The program has reinforced the importance of combining academic knowledge with practical skills, adaptability and continuous learning. I intend to carry these lessons into my future studies and career, using them to become a more capable and confident professional.

Personal message

I am sincerely grateful to B360 education partnerships for providing me with this opportunity. My appreciation also goes to all the mentors, coordinators and staff who dedicated their time and effort to making the program a success. I am leaving the Career Bridge with valuable knowledge, meaningful connections and greater confidence in myself. The experience has reminded me that growth often happens when we step outside our comfort zones, and I look forward to applying what I have learned as I continue to develop both personally and professionally.
