Annual Report 2025

Northbound

Record-breaking year with 16 interns

2025 was a record year for our Northbound program: we were able to offer 16 students from Namibia and Zambia a three-month internship with one of our partner companies in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. In the first semester, 11 students traveled to Switzerland and Liechtenstein to gain valuable experience, followed by 5 students in the second semester.

During their internships, the young people stayed with host families; the resulting cultural exchange is an invaluable added bonus for the participants and a wonderful experience for everyone involved.

Our Northbound program has been running since 2011. To date, 150 students from our partner universities in Southern Africa have completed internships in Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
