First of all, I would like to thank B360, Credit Suisse and my two host families (Family Sievers and Family Gantenbein) for giving me such an astonishing experience in Switzerland.

During the first days at Credit Suisse, I had e-learning modules to read to get an understanding of what I will be working with and refresh some university knowledge I had to apply to the work. The first task took me almost the whole day just to find out an hour before deadline that there was something wrong. With a hint from my manager, I was able to finish in time. The job at CS was good for me because the level of task difficulty as well as responsibility increased as time went on. There was not much room for mistakes. What I have improved most on is the way of thinking (how things are done) and how to operate a computer professionally. The team was great as they helped and supported me. They wanted me to learn and improve my skills while we had fun, and there was room for a smile and joke at work.

Chris, Silvia and Damian, the family I stayed with, did not make me feel like a visitor as I was able to move around the house independently. I was going to places like Arosa which to me was the best place for skiing in Switzerland. I moved around with the family and sometimes I stayed alone at home just like I would in Namibia. When coming home from work we talked about our day and laughed our way to sleep. And with my other host family, Corinne and Dieter Gantenbein, I was able to exercise and try aerobic classes, which was a lot of fun. Last but not least, my thanks also go to families like the Tsotsotso, Schaller and Oble for helping us with adopting to Swiss life. They know how African life and work compare to Swiss habits.

Thank you very much - you all played a great part making this happen and I hope that I left a good impression, something good for you to remember me. Ich bin Ihnen sehr dankbar für Alles!
