“You may not know where you are going, but as long as you spread your wings the winds will carry you.”

- C. JoyBell C.

The internship in Switzerland was an amazing, golden opportunity I was awarded. The first week at Credit Suisse was all about introduction and doing online courses, training on internal and external tools to familiarize myself with the system and get the overall understanding of my tasks. At the Investment Performance Reporting department, I learned how to independently produce internal investment performance reports for the Senior Management, in cooperation with the offshore team in India. I prepared ad-hoc reports using several various internal and external sources. I learned how to prepare, design reports and analyses in Excel and PowerPoint. I also learned professional skills and business conduct behaviors. Working in an international environment also taught me how to communicate politely with different parties.

I am giving many thanks to my mentor, Tobias Furrer and the rest of my colleagues at CS. They were truly a great inspiration for me. They groomed me to be a sound professional and made working with them an interesting and lifetime experience. I will always be grateful for their support and kindness.

At home, I had a wonderful and remarkable experience staying with my host parents. They assisted me in all aspects, regardless of where I was. It was amazing to stay with people who only had positive things to say about me, who consistently told me I can achieve great things and in anything “one can always try”. They introduced me to different wonderful families and took me to places I have never dreamed of visiting within 3 months. They are indeed a good family that is worthy of emulation.

To B360, Credit Suisse and my host family, thank you so much for investing in me. Thanks for opening my eyes to a new stage of opportunity and strength, for your guidance and useful advice. I really appreciate and treasure everything you have taught and done for me.
