You do not necessarily have to travel to Africa to make a valuable contribution to development cooperation. B360 is in great need of volunteer assistance in taking care of interns in Switzerland, organizing events or executing specific projects.

Volunteer lecturing
We arrange and manage teaching assignments at our established partner institutes of higher education in Namibia, South Africa and Zambia. These generally last a minimum of two to three weeks plus travel days and are carefully targeted to making a significant and visible contribution to mid- and long-term development in Southern Africa.

Host families
To ensure that our interns feel at home during their stay in Switzerland, we are looking for host families in suburban Aarau, Bern, Fribourg, St. Gallen, Zurich, Zug and Liechtenstein. The internships last three months and usually take place between February and October.

Internships
A key part of the 360° approach is the B360 internship program for Southern African students in European companies. We set up internships for the top students from our partner universities lasting three months. These offer a stimulating learning opportunity for both the interns and their host colleagues.

Are you a student at one of our partner universities (Namibia University of Science and Technology, University of Lusaka, University of Zambia, Tertiary School in Business Administration South Africa) interested in applying for an internship? B360 has a pool of experts in the fields of Business Management, Civil Engineering, Communication, Economics, E-Learning, Finance and Accounting, Food Safety, Human Resources, Journalism, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, Media Technology, Logistics, Occupational Health and Safety, Risk Management, SME Development. Additional disciplines are continually being added to meet specific local requirements.
These professionals, with proven experience in lecturing and training at an international level, share their subject-matter and business-based knowledge and expertise with students, lecturers and school management at our partner universities in Southern Africa.
Tailor-made assignments can take the form of lectures and case studies within the normal teaching syllabus, workshops, seminars, practical training and one-on-one coaching sessions.
