The contributions of all the experts of B360 education partnerships are much appreciated. They bring subject matter expertise and business experience which are highly valuable for our students. Our partnership with B360 education partnerships is young and developing and we want to further grow and strengthen our cooperation. We are hoping that in the future, in addition to many B360 education partnerships experts coming to Namibia, there will be many training opportunities in Switzerland for some of our best students.

Dr Tjama Tjivikua, Rector of the Polytechnic of Namibia

Polytechnic of Namibia

The polytechnic was founded in 1996. Today over 12’000 students are enrolled, of which 51% are full-time students, 27% are part-time students and 22% are distance-learning students. Four percent of students are international. The school has the following faculties: School of Business and Management, School of Communication, Criminal Justice and Legal Studies, School of Engineering, School of Health and Applied Science, School of Information Technology and School of Natural Resources and Tourism.

University of Zambia

The University of Zambia (UNZA) was founded in 1966. Today close to 9’000 students are enrolled in the Schools of Agricultural Sciences, Engineering, Education, Humanities and Social Sciences, Law, Mines, Medicine, Natural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine.

B360 education partnerships and UNZA are in discussions about a possible partnership. To test how a possible cooperation could best work, two pilot assignments are planned. One was just completed in the Department of Mass Communication and another pilot assignment is planned for March 2012 in the Department of Economics.
